Positive masters, sculpted in Super Sculpy ® and boxed, ready for molding.

Heating up hot melt vinyl and the filled molds

The molds, with the Super Sculpy ® masters removed

The molds filled with clear casting resin (2% catalyst mix)

First pull, the first set of teeth out of the molds.                                    

Finished teeth, hand sanded with progressively finer wet and dry paper until opaque.

THE INNER JAW:

Started off as a simple cardboard 'box' open at each end.

This was then wrapped in rubber matting, as used on the hands, conduit attached on the corners, teeth glued into place and then the detail built up with a glue gun.

The whole was then painted with a base coat of liquid latex mixed with black acrylic paint to blend the different textures and materials together.
