| Individual vertebrae and the tail 'claw' were cut, then carved from Plastazote® and distressed to create a rough, scarred texture. |

| These were then painted with a liquid latex / acrylic base coat. |

| The vertebrae were pierced onto a steel rod curved to the desired shape and a spacer of ribbed plastic conduit with a foam insert was threaded on in between each vertebra. |
